Schools & Educators
The Music, Learning, and Society Research Group is a consortium of faculty and graduate students in music education in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts School of Music at Arizona State University. The MLS Research Group supports inquiry that investigates social transformation through engagement through music; music education theory, policy, and practice; the preparation and continuing development of music education professionals; the meaning and value of music for individuals in every stage of life; and music and learning as it occurs in diverse forms and practices in the community.

Ear Candy was a Phoenix founded 501(c)(3) Non- Profit devoted to providing youngpeople access to music education. Ear Candy plays a pivotal role supporting music education through its Instrument Drives, after school music programs, and “Beyond the Classroom” opportunities for children to expand their musical horizons.
Music Educators Network (musiced.net) is a non profit organization that provides music educators with web-based infrastructure and services to collaborate, generate multimedia content, and archive teacher and student work.
